NVQ Level 6 Course Overview

The Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management is aimed at experienced Construction Site Managers. If you have the right amount of experience, but not the required qualification to apply for your Black CSCS card then this qualification is for you.
On completion of the course you will be able to:

• Effectively carry out your responsibilities with the knowledge and skills you have gained.
• Have the confidence to apply management knowledge and skills in your role
• Obtain a recognised management qualification (NVQ Level 6)
• Apply for your Management CSCS Black Card
• Have a route to professional membership such as MCIOB

How is the Level 6 NVQ in Construction Site Management Assessed?

After an online induction, a qualified assessor will be assigned to you and assess evidence that you will collect at your place of work. This will be in the form of site documents and professional discussions. Your assessor will carry out online assessments (via Zoom) at times to suit to yourself to go through the requirements of the course and carry out professional discussions.

There is no set time limit for completing this course, but typically takes 3 to 4 months to complete. A fast-track approach can also be taken to achieve in as little as 4 weeks.

You can apply for a temporary Managerial CSCS card while being assessed for your NVQ which is valid for three years. On completion of the assessment you will be able to apply for a permanent CSCS card valid for 5 years.
