Paul Carter BA (Hons) Cert Ed

Director of Assessing and Quality Assurance 

A founder member of the partnership, Paul has over 40 years experience in construction at craft and managerial positions. Before entering Further Education Paul gained experience working in the wood machining sector (having gained his advanced C&G qualifications) with saw mills and purpose made joinery companies – including a managerial role with a window design, build and install company.

Within his 40 years of experience, Paul has also enjoyed 26 years in Teaching and Management in Further Education, a significant part of which involved the setting up and managing an “On Site Assessment & Training Department” (OSAT). Indeed, in the days of the  Learning and Skills Council (LSC) era, this proved to be a very forward and innovative  area of thinking in FE.

Paul brings to the team a vast amount of experience dealing with all OSAT type provision and as such is an invaluable member of the team.
